Care Manager
The Care Manager provides assessments, referrals, and triage. Conducts telephone assessments, collecting sufficient data to make appropriate referral and certification decisions for emergency/urgent referrals that require alternate levels of care. Makes appropriate certification decisions. Collaborates with providers to determine alternate levels of care and to facilitate transfers to network facilities and providers whenever possible. Facilitates coordination of care with other care managers to assure continuity of care. Evaluates clinical appropriateness of treatment using professional knowledge within ValueOptions clinical and work-site guidelines and renders certification decisions or seeks consultations for non-certification decisions. Manages and coordinate the care of individuals with complex needs who are eligible for disease management or intensive care management; provide intensive assistance and problem-solving to eliminate barriers to care working with providers and consumers.
This position requires licensure in a mental health related field (RN, Ph.D., LCSW/ACSW, LPC, etc.) and 3-5 years experience in psychiatric or substance abuse treatment. Experience in settings that include inpatient, partial, and/or outpatient customer service orientation and excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Must possess the ability to function in an interdisciplinary setting. Strong customer service orientation and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Must have knowledge and experience using management information systems, word processing, and spreadsheet applications (Microsoft Word and Excel experience preferred). Knowledge of care resources and levels of care available is essential to success in this position.

Provider Relations Regional Representatives
Regional Representatives perform provider outreach and proactive personal contact with providers in their offices through attendance at professional gatherings. Provides education and brings provider feedback to the local or national office for action. Recruits new providers and works to maintain satisfaction of providers to prevent disenrollment. Conducts site visits and works closely with local and national provider relations/network management staff to efficiently delivery services.
Bachelor's degree in related field, with experience in provider relations, preferably in a behavioral health and/or managed care setting. Preference given to candidates with licensure. Position requires frequent travel and personal transportation.

Quality Management Specialist I
The QM Specialist is the project coordinator for activities related to quality improvement activities. As the coordinator, will be responsible for assisting in the identification of improvement opportunities, the design of interventions, and the ongoing monitoring of results. The position manages all functions (including communication), interventions, and communications between departments and stakeholders. This position monitors compliance with policies related to the Quality Management program.

Grievance/Appeals Coordinator
The Grievance Coordinator requires highly developed organizational and verbal and written communication skills. Coordinate all levels of complaints, grievances and/or appeals to ensure timeliness and compliance with URAC, State and customer standards. Produce necessary documentation for appeals decisions. Assist in design and maintenance of applicable databases for complaints/appeals and other ad hoc QM projects. Work in collaboration with internal ValueOptions staff and providers. Maintain sound customer relations while researching and gathering complaints, grievances and appeals information.
Strong customer service orientation; ability to meet deadlines; high degree of organizational skills needed to meet deadlines. Bachelor's degree required.

PE & O Coordinator
The PE & O Coordinator plans and organizes training and prevention, education and outreach activities for members and other stakeholders. Empower family members and others to action by sharing personal story of resiliency and hope. Works with service center staff to identify internal training and educational opportunities to promote organizational efficiency and effective delivery of services. Incorporates recovery and resiliency principles into education and outreach activities and works with various stakeholder teams to develop and deliver programs, written communications and related work plans and projects.
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and at least three year’s experience in developing educational programs, outreach activities and group facilitation. Requires lived experience as a family member of youth with serious emotional disorders. Excellent organizational and planning skills as well as writing and presentation abilities.

Clinical Services Assistant
The Clinical Services Assistant II serves as the primary support mechanism for all non-clinical administrative tasks so that clinical staff may focus on clinical priorities and ensure that critical business needs are met. This includes duties and responsibilities such as: determination of single case agreements; acting as primary contact for all provider questions involving single case agreements, authorizations and claims processes; recording member/provider inquires; conducting provider searches; acting as primary contact for building and authorizing outpatient cases for members and providers through the registration process and the screening criteria tool; and running all clinical data reports.
High School Diploma required plus three years of experience working in a healthcare environment with a high level of customer service. AA degree and four years of experience preferred. At least three years of progressive experience in customer service or healthcare required.
