Quality Manager

The Quality Manager reports to the Service Center Director of Quality Management (QM), but also works extensively with both the Director of Clinical Operations (UM) in support of accreditation objectives. Supports Service Center QM and UM program description and work plan initiatives. Manages projects, programs and processes related to NCQA activities. Has oversight of the interface with Clinical Operations, Account Management, and Customer Service to address NCQA quality initiatives; assures that all interrelated accreditation requirements are met.

Education: Masters Degree in one of the following related fields: QM, Psychology, Behavioral Health, Statistics or Nursing with relevant QM or Managed Care Experience. License preferred, but not required: i.e. Nursing (RN) or Social Work (LCSW) Three years of QM and NCQA experience. Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of three years 3 years quality assurance/management experience in a NCQA setting.

• Three years experience coordinating NCQA accreditation criteria and processes required Ability to work independently in an interdisciplinary setting and coordinate quality management/utilization management initiatives with various departments.
• Evidence of successful project management experience required.
• Evidence of knowledge in the concepts, principles and practical applications of quality management initiatives (i.e., indicator development, benchmarking and outcomes).
