Care Manager Opportunities!

Join our Clinical team and exercise your assessment and case management skills as a Care Manager in a dynamic environment in which you help members access a broad range of cutting-edge resources.  You will help manage members who are admitted to facilities; collaborate with providers to determine alternate levels of care and to facilitate transfers to network facilities and providers whenever possible; facilitate coordination of care with other care managers to assure continuity of care; evaluate clinical appropriateness of treatment using professional knowledge within VOI clinical and worksite guidelines and renders certification decisions or seek consultations for non-certification decisions and so much more. Master’s degree in a mental health related discipline or RN (BSN Preferred) with psych experience required.  Must hold a valid New Mexico license; LPCC, LPC, LISW, LMSW, LMFT in a behavioral health field (i.e. nursing, counseling, family therapy, clinical social work, or psychology).  Minimum of five years experience in the delivery of mental health and/or substance abuse services and have the authority to authorize services, conduct concurrent and retrospective reviews, and make other clinical decisions on behalf of ValueOptions-New Mexico.  Knowledge and experience in the New Mexico behavioral health delivery system strongly preferred.  Experience in settings that include inpatient, partial, and/or outpatient care.  Preferably experience in serving specialty populations such as children/adolescent, chemically dependent, etc.

Claims Processor

Do you have what it takes to join our high energy Claims team??  If you are a detail oriented individual with the desire to assist our Claims organization in consistently exceeding standards of quality and excellence for our members, providers and facilities, read on!!   Become a Claims Processor with responsibility for investigating and processing behavioral health claims to include submissions by member, provider and facility. 

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.  Minimum of one-and-a-half years claims processing experience preferably in a behavioral health or insurance/managed care environment.

Specialized Care Coordinator

Interested in joining our Clinical team in a Specialized Care Coordinator position?  These unique Clinical roles are Care Managers with responsibility for serving the priority populations or others with complex needs or special conditions. Provide care coordination for customers who are in out-of-home settings, such as children and adolescents in residential treatment centers.  Coordinate referrals and provision of mental health services and substance abuse services for customers and families with complex needs.
